Vitteaux

A picture of the village in France where I stayed while on the three month exchange. It's near the city of Dijon ... yes as in where the mustard comes from ... It was only a short walk to their vinyard from their house and we spent a lot of time exploring the French country side which surrounded the village.

Quebec City

In the old part of Quebec City, from when I went last spring. We really had a lot of fun while we were there and it really reminded me of France ... I can't wait til I get to go back.

The Trail of Tears

A statue representing the Trail of Tears at the Oklahoma Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City ... a very interesting and interactive museum. For those of you who don't know the Trail of Tears was when the US government moved many Native Americans, most of whom were Cherokees, from their homelands to Oklahoma, part of which was designated as Indian territory, in the late 1830s.
We had a lot of fun while we were there and I would go again in a heartbeat.

Merry Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!
Happy Holidays!!!
(From our most recent trip to Disney during the Christmas parade)

la tour eiffle

Et Voila!
My first photo ... this is from my tirp to France in 2004. We got off the plane and toured the city of Paris ... it was awesome. But I have to say the Eiffle Tower ... terribly disappointing. I'm being honest and there are people who agree with me. It's actually a really ugly brown colour.
I'll post more about my France trip later ... It was three months long so I have a lot to say about it.

My World

I live in a small town in southern Ontario that no one's ever heard of but I love to travel. So far I've been out west ... though I never made it to BC, and I've been down east ... didn't go to Newfoundland though. I've been to Ottawa twice and I love it there. I went on a school trip to Quebec City and had an awesome time. I drove down to Oklahoma with my family to visit some friends and we stopped a few places along the way. And a last year for the Canadian Thanksgiving we went down to NYC. I've flown to Florida four times to go to Disney World. I've also been to Great Britian. And I stayed for 3 months in France near the city of Dijon. In March I'm going on the "Fritaly" (France and Italy) trip with my school and I can't wait. I'm planning to do some travelling next year b/c i'm taking a year off of school ... but i just can't decide where to go
