McDonald's Is Taking Over the World!!!

An ad for McDonald's in Epcot ... I work at McDonald's and this ad made me laugh ... but i have a serious question ... Why am I going to go to McDonald's when I go to a different country? (with the exception of the US) ... Food is a part of culture and if you don't try the food you really are missing out ...

Swans In Stratford

These are some of the swans in Stratford, Ontario...though I have also been to Stratford England. In Stratford they have a rather famous theatre festival, the Stratford Festival ... I which I absolutely love to go to ... especially the Festival Theatre which is in part based on the theatre used by Shakespeare. This season there are about five plays that I'm dying to see but of all of them I'd say Twelvth Night would be my first choice because we studied it in grade 10 and i really liked it.

Some French Countryside

This is a view from the vinyard that belonged to the people i stayed with. We went on a couple long walks through the hills ... and climbed a lot of fences ... but it was really cool.

A View of Paris From The Eiffle Tower

Note to self: The Eiffle Tower has a lot of stairs and it's no fun to climb them after you've had no sleep on the flight to get to Paris but the view is awesome

St. Louis

On our way down to Oklahoma we stopped to visit the St. Louis Arch. It was pretty cool. After St. Louis tho we had some tire trouble and we had to stop at the Walmart in Lebbanon, Missouri ... where we learned that a city with 250,000 people is "real big":) The whole trip was lot's of fun

A French Dinner Table

Notice the wine ... and the cheese, apparently they have a different kind of cheese for everyday of the year in France ... and then of course the awesome bread ... and yes we did have a backer right down the street from where I stayed ... then there's the hat ... we couldn't find a beret so we improvised:)

A Little Closer To Home ...

This picture was taken at a place just east of Toronto. This is what it used to look like around here but now it's all urban ... kinda sad really...

From Flavigny

A crypt in the French town of Flavigny that was built during the time of Charlemagne, which was slightly more than a thousand years ago ... you'd never run across anything this old around here.

The French Alps

In the French Alps. I did go skiing but I hated it ... in short I'm not a skier ... but the scenery was awesome.
